Manchester United Signs Frederic Veseli of Manchester City

Manchester United has reported that they have signed 19-year-old defender Frederic Veseli from Manchester City.  The 19-year-old defender is the first player to be signed by the Premier League champions in the January transfer window.
Manager Sir Alex Ferguson previously reported that he was not interested in signing any new players to the team but would definitely keep his eyes open for a youngster who has proven his potential.

Veseli is a natural and although he has yet to make his debut for the Manchester City first team, his performance on the reserves has proven his potential to be an up-and-coming player.

Ferguson has previously signed other U-21 players trusting them to show that in the long run they are worthy of playing for a team like Manchester United.
Ferguson has not yet reported whether Veseli would be a member of the first-team squad or if he would be sent out on loan. Ferguson truly believes sending young players out on loan will allow them to acquire the fitness required to be competitive at the Premier League level.
 With various injured players on United, Veseli will be a great addition to the team. Veseli was certainly a happy man. He celebrated his switch with his family and friends at Manchester restaurant San Carlo.
