Manchester City Remain the Only Unbeaten Team in EPL

After Sunday’s match against Tottenham, the Blues remain without a defeat after 11 matches this season.  The club has not seen a defeat in 35 EPL matches at the Etihad Stadium.

 Tottenham Steven Caulker scored the first goal of the match at the 21^st minute; however, Kun and Dzeko scored two goals giving the blues a well-deserved victory.

Pep Guardiola to Manchester City?

Former FC Barcelona executive Txiki Begiristain is very close from signing a contract with Manchester City.  It will not be a surprise if Mr. Begiristain enforces a priority to bring Pep Guardiola to Manchester. 

ManCity Fails in the Netherlands

Dutch champions Ajax 3-1 defeated English giants Manchester City last night at home in the Champions League.  Yet another loss and City finds itself very close to disqualifying within the competition.

Manchester City arrived in Holland Tuesday morning to prepare for a critical Champions League match against Ajax.  The EPL giants have only obtained a mere one point out of six possible in the past two matches against Real Madrid and Dortmund.

Ibrahimovic Links Ballotelli to FC Barcelona

Former Barcelona striker Ibrahimovic has encouraged Ballotelli to join Barcelona because he assumes there is a fit between the club and the Manchester City striker.

September for Manchester City is not looking as bright as everyone expected.   This month, ManCity has only won one game, tied two, and lost two (1-2-2).  In a positive side, Sergio Aguero is back and played against Arsenal (final 1-1).  The striker had five clear opportunities but lacked the final touch to the net.   Perhaps his one-month absence impacted his precision. City is currently in 7^th place with nine points. 

Ronaldo Seals The Deal against City with 3-2

Group D of the UEFA Champions League can easily be dubbed the “Group of Death” with its superstar teams (Real Madrid, Manchester City, Ajax, and Borussia Dortmund) stacked against each other. Real Madrid’s game over Manchester City proved just that, with the last 30 minutes of the match feeling like a sudden death that haunted fans of both clubs.

The match began at a steadfast pace, with Real Madrid applying pressure to City’s defense without mercy. The first half could easily be summed up by “Joe Hart vs. Real Madrid”, and for that entire half, the England goalkeeper denied every powerful shot from the likes of Marcelo, Ronaldo, Higuain and Di Maria. Roberto Mancini’s men took a huge blow when Samir Nasri came off with what seemed like a hamstring strain in the 35th minute. Looking at the broader picture, a serious injury for Nasri could mean a jumbled City midfield that would not only suffer against Arsenal on Sunday, but for the rest of their Champions League run. 

Kun Aguero is Back!!

Folks, Sergio Aguero suffered an injury during the first match of the 2012/2013 Premier League which has left him out of the pitch for almost a month.  However, ManchesterCity.co.uk has advised us that the striker is back in training.

Manchester City Wins Silverware while Mancini Learns from Mistakes

The tragedy between Roberto Mancini and Carlos Tevez is well known within the football industry.  People familiar with the case have taken different stances on the situation.  Some have supported the Italian hero, whereas others have sided with the Argentine prodigy.  The conclusion to this cautionary ManCity tale has two morals – Mancini learned from his mistakes and Tevez is ready for a second race.

Mancini allowed for emotions to take precedence over professionalism following the famous incident, where he publicly announced that Carlos Tevez would never play football for Manchester City.  However, after six long months, Manchester City and Mr. Roberto gave Tevez the opportunity to offset past actions with good performance and help bring glory to the club.  The former Boca Juniors striker did not disappoint, helping City win their last two titles: the Premier League and, their most recent, the Community Shield.

Carlos Tevez Takes to Twitter

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has now been fully incorporated into the City nation once again and for good.  Tevez considers his life in Manchester stable now that his two daughters will be attending school this Fall.

The former Boca Juniors hero is currently on tour with Manchester City and recently tied against Dynamo 0-0.  During this 2012 Summer Tour, Tevez, in collaboration with Sergio "Kun" Aguero, answered questions submitted by fans tagged #askcarlos via City's Twitter handle, @MCFC.  Here's what the Argentine had to say:

Arsenal Throws A Massive Roadblock On Manchester City’s Title Dreams

It was a massive game at the Emirates as both teams played for three vital points. A loss or a draw was dangerous for both teams as Manchester City will slip farther behind United and Arsenal will be in a tighter competition for Champions League places.

If anyone can claim that this game wasn’t heart-stopping, then that person must have a really zen center. It was a tense match from the start. Arsenal dominated early on and it was a dominance that continued throughout the game, except for about 10 minutes in the start of the second half.

A Clear, Strong and Comfortable Victory for Manchester City

Manchester City is back in action after an outstanding victory against Porto in the EUFA Europa League.   Their Premier League opponent this day was Blackburn Rovers, who was hoping for an upset.  This game focused closely on Mario Balotteli, who was back in the starting lineup after his four-game suspension.  Balotelli made up for lost time quickly scored a left footed goal at minute 29 (assisted by Kolarov).  Balotelli now has earned 10 goals this season.  Pablo Zabaleta also came back to the starting line up and provided astonishing support to the offensive men.

Carlos Tevez and Manchester City need Each Other

Carlos Tevez has returned to Manchester City first team squad, training with them this past Thursday, February 23^rd.  The Argentine returned to City after more than three-months of absence.  After Roberto Mancini offered Tevez a new opportunity to come back to the club, the striker did not wait to apologize for his actions.

Micah Richards spoke in favor of Carlos and asked supporters to welcome his return.  “The best option for Tevez is to come back and get his head down and if we do end up winning the league and he’s played a massive part in that then I’m sure everyone will forgive him," mentioned Richards.

"If we don't, then it could be the opposite. It's a mixed feeling really, but for me as a player, I'm glad to have him back because he's an outstanding player. He was our captain and leader, not only on the ball but off the ball as well, working hard, closing people down. He was a real nightmare to play against and to have that back in our team would be a boost. He's got something that maybe the other strikers don't have. Not in terms of ability but just knowing what the Premier League is like."

Manchester City denies New Opportunity to Carlos Tevez

 The January transfer window closed Tuesday, January 31.  Manchester City rejected offers from Inter, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain to sign former Argentine striker Carlos Tevez.  In an interview, Carlitos mentioned that his current situation is very strange.  “I wanted to go and had offers from other leagues, from Spain and Italy.  But it did not work out in the end because City did not accept any of the offers.”

Carlos Tevez has been looking for a new club since September 2011 after the Bayern Munich incident, but his situation does not look any better after five long months of no action.  Manchester City assured that the exit of the striker was a reality, but according to Tevez, “something always wasn’t right.”

Manchester United has finally erased Manchester City’s three-point lead in the Premiere League after Tuesday’s 2-0 victory over Stoke city.  The two goals were penalties scored by Javier Hernandez (El Chicharito) and Dimitar Berbatov.

Although Chicharito is not the regular penalty kicker for the Reds, it was left to him to step up and lead the team since regular penalty-kicker Wayne Rooney was watching from the stands.

One Man’s Trash: Liverpool Through to Carling Cup Final

Manchester City arrived at Anfield at a one goal disadvantage in the second-leg of their Carling Cup semifinal against Liverpool after Steven Gerrard scored in typical fashion in a penalty at Etihad.

Despite facing a top of the table Man City, Liverpool went into the clash holding the advantage: home turf, no new injuries, and the prize of a trip to Wembley- their first since 1996- within their grasp.

Manchester City found themselves ahead of Liverpool after Nigel Kung-Fu de Jong, in perhaps a moment of confusion, connected with the ball instead of an LFC player’s leg and scored from 25-yards away.

Liverpool retaliated before the half, drawing even after a perfectly placed Steven Gerrard penalty™, given after City’s Micah Richards deflected a shot from Liverpool’s Daniel Agger only to have it bounce back up to his hand.

Getting Personal with David Silva

Manchester City allowed David Silva to answer some questions by the fans.  As a result, David Silva declares to enjoy scoring goals and creating opportunities for his Manchester City teammates.  David states to enjoy different music genres but admits that his brother chooses David’s music because he is the one who uploads music in his I-pod.

As a child, Silva admired Danish Footballer Michael Laudrup.  He enjoyed his passing and ways of seeing the game.  Finally, Silva appreciates Manchester City fans for their commitment to the team and asks to keep the outstanding support.  

Manchester City and November Madness

Manchester City is currently leading the Premier League with 5 points ahead of neighbors Manchester United.  So far, Manchester City has scored 39 goals in the past 11 games averaging almost 4 goals per game.  The question is, can the Blues keep up this performance until the end of the season?  It has been proven that every individual player is able to perform while at the pitch.  However, the players that make a true difference are the two midfielders, Yaya Toure and David Silva.  On November 19^th Man City will face third place Newcastle United, this will be heir second challenge of the season.  Let us remember that Manchester City was victorious over Manchester United.

Carlos Tevez is Suspended From Manchester City

According to a statement from Manchester City's website, former Boca Juniors Carlos Tevez has been suspended until further notice for a period of two weeks.

The Manchester City striker will not be able to train with the first team nor be considered for selection until a full review takes place.   The suspension has been decided due to the players conduct during the UEFA Champions League match of Manchester City vs. Bayern Munich e on Tuesday afternoon.   The game ended in favor of Bayern Munich defeating "The Blues" 2-0.

Carlos Tevez has currently 43 official goals and 65 appearances since his arrival at Manchester City.

Tevez Preveals Driving Case

£200,000-a-week, Carlos Tevez was cleared of a driving offense after declaring that he did not speak English.  

Former Boca Junior "told a court through his lawyer he had never seen a document asking him if he was the driver of a Bentley clocked doing 38mph in a 30 zone," according to Mirror.co.

Mirror also mentions that lawyer Gwyn Lewis told courts: “He does not deal directly with his own post as he does not speak English. But he accepts he was driving.”

Yesterday, September  21, Tevez was part of the starting line up that beat Birmingham 2-0 for the Carling Cup.  This result advances Manchester City from Round Three.
