Week number 2 of the Barclays Premier League is finally over and Manchester City is on top.  At this point, the Premier League is at an early stage, yet Manchester City seems to be a clear candidate for the title and a promising team for the 2011-2012 UEFA Champions League.

The Blues are showing great performance on the mid-field managed by untouchables David Silva and Yaya Toure.  Both players have become partners in gaining and distributing passes to the offensive side of the Blues.  This Sunday, Silva was named "Man of The Match" for the second time this season, and has obtained 2 goals in the past two matches, while Toure had an almost perfect game with his accruacy of passing and gaining balls in the mid-field.
What can we expect if  £22m Frenchman Samir Nasri seals the deal with the Blues?  According to Manchestercity.com, the final story will conclude in the next 48 hours.  If playmaker Nasri becomes part of The Citizens, don't be surprised to see him next to Silva and Toure.

To this point, Manchester City has created one of the best offensives in the world.  New signing Sergio Aguero has put a name for himself after his perfect debut game scoring 2 goals and assisting one to magician David Silva.  Roberto Mancini claims that El Kun is not 100% just yet, due to The Copa America and getting used to his new teammates.

One that gave his best game since his arrival to The Blues is Edin Dzeko  according to foxsoccer, who now has two goals in his favor.  Dzeko has a lot to learn, yet he will surely fight to be consistent in games, similar to youngster Mario Balloteli.  The surprise was Carlos Tevez who replaced Kun Aguero at minute 68th.  Even though there has been big rumors that Tevez will leave before this summer transfer is over, The Citizens are hoping to keep their hero at home.
