After a draw in La Liga against Real Sociedad and a draw in the
UEFA Champions League against Milan, Pep Guardiola and his team were looking to get
back on track of their title defense in Spain. They played Osasuna this Saturday and proved why they are the 3-time defending La Liga Champions.
Leonel Messi scored a hat trick, Villa got a brace, Fàbregas scores again along
with Xavi and an own goal by Roversario to give Barça an 8-0 win. It
was complete dominance by Barça who led 5-0 at half time thanks to goals by
Messi with 2, Fàbregas, Villa and an own goal. The scoring didn't stop
there Xavi scored a beautiful chip in the 57th minute assisted by Messi
on the play. "El Guaje" Villa scored yet another one by Barça in the
76th and Messi completed his hat trick in the 79th minute, his first of
the season with hopefully more to come.
