Valecia Update Internationally

Inward Investment Job Description
Jordi Alba
Another update for you guys with more on Valencia’s players during the international break. The last match day of the break saw five VCF players get minutes for their national teams. The most significant of these call ups was for Jordi Alba of Spain, who not only started and played a full match against Scotland, but also gave an exceptional performance and got an assist to boot.  Mehmet Topal also played the full 90 in Turkey’s match against Azerbaijan. It was the first match Topal has played since his shoulder injury, and Unai Emery will be hoping that Topal will return to Valencia in full fitness and form. Adil Rami and Ever Banega continue to be key members of their national teams. Jonas Gonçalves continues to be a consistent feature player for Brazil, but yet to start a match and usually comes on in the dying minutes. Jeremy Mathieu was not able to get his first cap for France and was not even included in the subs list for either of France’s matches. Ricardo Costa, too, could not add on to his caps, though he was included in Portugal’s subs list. Hedwidges Maduro is still injured and will undergo surgery soon.
