Sunday in La Liga, Real Madrid defeated CA Osasuna,
earning the top standing in La Liga with 28 points, 3 points above Barcelona. Midfielder Ángel Di María placed goals
at the feet of his teammates Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe, and Gonzalo Higuaín
leaving Real Madrid ahead at the half with time to spare. Nine minutes after
half, Osausna gave up a penalty for taking down Midfielder Mesut Özil; as a
result Ronaldo received his fourth Liga hat-trick in the season. While
Madrid was leading 7-1, Angel Di Maria left 10 minutes in the second half due
to an injured hamstring.
Though Real Madrid moves to the very top in La Liga
and is advancing to the knockout round in the Champions League, it is uncertain
of how long Di María will be sidelined due to his injury. Now my question
is, how much will this affect Real Madrid?
