In response to the resignation rumors, Tottenham Hotspurs manager Harry Redknapp told ESPN this week that the allegations were false. Redknapp has no intention on resigning with having one more year on his contract so it can be safe to say that this 65-year-old isn't leaving White Hart Lane-yet.
The reasons as to why there were rumors of Harry quitting had to deal with the aspect of his contract negotiation offer with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy. It has been known for quite some time now that Levy's relationship with Redknapp is at its breaking point. Some fans could say that Redknapps' outwardly confession of wanting the job of England's manager last month could have coast him the new contract deal and that perhaps honesty wasn't the best policy for Redknapps case.
Or perhaps maybe coming in fourth place in the Champion League due to the sloppy strategic work Redknapp devised was what set the chairman off? One thing is certain though is that Levy is not a man who plays games when it comes to supporting a winning team so come the end of Redknapp's year Everton manager David Moyes could be his replacement if further business is not conducted.

With Rafael Van Der Vaart, Luka Modric, Gareth Bale,Emmanuel Adeybayor and Jermain Defoe all in the talks for being replaced this summer, I'm not sure if victory for the Spurs will be easy to achieve come the new season. Lets just hope that if things go according to Levy's plan Moyes can work miracles in ways Redknapp never did.
