Valenica vs Sporting Gijon

Valencia 1-0 Sporting Gijon

Hey all. So I haven’t done a post in a little while, but Valencia’s certainly kept busy while I’ve been away. First Valencia played their first away game of the season at Sporting Gijón two weeks ago. They played very well, recording a 1-0 victory, with the goal coming from none other than Goldado himself (Roberto Soldado). It was a good match that Valencia controlled well, but just couldn’t find the goals. Towards the end of the match Valencia looked a bit complacent, and again Guaita managed to stay concentrated to keep the score 1-0.

Lineups:
Sporting Gijón: Juan Pablo; Damián Suárez (Carmelo González, 78th minute), Alberto Botía, Gregory Arnolin, Roberto Canella; Alberto Rivera, Sergio Alvarez, André Castro (Gastón Sangoy, 57th minute); Nacho Novo (Alberto Lora, 57th minute), Miguel de las Cuevas, David Barral.

Valencia CF: Vicente Guaita; Bruno Saltor, Adil Rami, Víctor Ruiz, Jordi Alba; David Albelda, Éver Banega; Pablo Hernández, Jonas Gonçalves (Pablo Piatti, 61st minute), Sergio Canales (Tino Costa, 79th minute); Roberto Soldado (Aritz Aduriz, 69th minute).

Goal: 1-0 Roberto Soldado (30th minute).
