2010 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball winner as the tournament's best player Diego Forlán, has become Uruguay's all-time top scorer for Uruguay with 32 goals after scoring in today's game (Paraguay 1-1 Uruguay). Scarone has held the record alone since 1930 until 2011.
Diego Forlan is also Uruguay's all-time most capped player with 84 caps. The Internazionale Milano striker has 32 years of age, yet his soccer style and performance are still outstanding. Forlan's future looks very bright and there is no doubt that he will be a key player for his national team as well as for his European football club.
