Club Ameria: The Benitez Drama Still Continues

Fellow fans, we have recent updates from the world of Club America.  The Christian Benitez case is still unclear— Benitez, who accused his housekeepers of stealing expensive jewelry from his residence was then counter sued for allegedly kidnapping them.  He spoke with the press recently and mentioned that his lawyers will handle with everything that has to do with the case because he has to focus on the team.  He also expressed his confidence on his chances of winning this case.  Regarding the club, Benitez said it was time to forget about the losses of the past tournament and focus on the new 2012 campaign.

In other news, Miguel Herrera announced that he was not planning to bring new defensive players to the team.  He believes the team is currently fine with the back line it has now.  The new players that have been added to the squad are former Atlante goalkeeper Moises Muñoz and midfielder Christian Bermudez.

This past Monday, Vicente Sanchez turned 32 years old— congratulations Vicente.
