Montenegro is staying on the team!
Fans spent much time waiting to hear news on who else was going to stay
on the team permanently, “El Rolfi” finally spoke to reporters, sharing that he
was staying.
Rumors states that “El Rolfi” was talking to representatives from El Club
Atletico River Plate, an Argentinian team located in Buenos Aires.
While Rolfi was on vacation in Buenos
Aires, an announcement was made saying that all America players were
transferable. The timing of these
two events led to the rumors. Rolfi
made it quite clear that he never spoke to or wanted to go to River.
Slowly but surely we are getting to know the names of the players that are going to remain on Las Aguilas. Can’t be long before we find out more,since the next tournament is just around the corner! For now, we wait.
