A Clear, Strong and Comfortable Victory for Manchester City

Manchester City is back in action after an outstanding victory against Porto in the EUFA Europa League.   Their Premier League opponent this day was Blackburn Rovers, who was hoping for an upset.  This game focused closely on Mario Balotteli, who was back in the starting lineup after his four-game suspension.  Balotelli made up for lost time quickly scored a left footed goal at minute 29 (assisted by Kolarov).  Balotelli now has earned 10 goals this season.  Pablo Zabaleta also came back to the starting line up and provided astonishing support to the offensive men.
The second half started with a goal from the boot of Kun Aguero – his 16th goal of the season—at minute 51.   This game was another opportunity for David Pizarro “the fantasist,” who scored his first goal against Porto this past Wednesday, to see minutes on the pitch when he was substituted for Adam Johnson in the 71st minute against Blackburn.  Another striker who saw minutes was Edin Dzeko who also scored a goal – his13th of the season.

Once again, Yaya Toure and David Silva, Zabaleta, and Kolarov controlled the midfield, which helped Manchester City dominate the entire game and enforce a powerful offensive.
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini clearly made the right moves during the second half by providing a different but effective offensive attack.  Manchester City rolled to a clear, strong, and comfortable victory.  Man City, who currently sits atop the Premier League table, is out to prove that they deserve to win the Premier League title.
