Crucial Game for Manchester City Against Ajax

"We don’t have experience as a club, but our players do have experience in the Champions” – Mancini

Manchester City arrived in Holland Tuesday morning to prepare for a critical Champions League match against Ajax.  The EPL giants have only obtained a mere one point out of six possible in the past two matches against Real Madrid and Dortmund.

Roberto Mancini spoke to the press and touched upon some key points before the match.  The Italian manager mentioned that ManCity have four games to play and there could be 12 possible points to conquer.  Mancini did accept that playing in Madrid was very “difficult” and “we (City) got lucky” against Dortmund in Manchester.

He mentioned that the great four strikers are fit to play, also hinting that Dzeko would probably start due to his outstanding performance this past weekend.  (Dzeko scored twice coming out of the bench to West Brom and gave ManCity the victory).

Mancini also praised Ajax saying, “Ajax is one of the best teams in history.  Ajax is an important club and we want to win against important clubs."  Manchester City has become an important club in England but has struggled to perform well due to lack of experience in the tournament.  The Italian manager concluded the conference stating, "We don’t have experience as a club, but our players do have experience in the Champions."
