Dutch champions Ajax 3-1
defeated English giants Manchester City last night at home in the Champions
League. Yet another loss and City finds
itself very close to disqualifying within the competition.
Mancini, who desperately
played his four strikers towards the end of the match, spoke with press.
"It was a strange
match, we didn't play well. We had changes to score, but we missed many
shots and we made many mistakes in the defense.
"We lost the
match. I am the manager. The fault is mine. However, if you don't have good mentality, you
can't play this game."
The Italian manager
added, "Now it is very difficult. We can't think it will be easy. We have
one point; and I think we have 5% possibility to advance. [But] we won't
advance if we play like this."
Mancini concluded his
statements, emphasizing the Premier League. "Now we need to recover for
Saturday” to play against Swansea City."
