Pep Guardiola to Manchester City?

Former FC Barcelona executive Txiki Begiristain is very close from signing a contract with Manchester City.  It will not be a surprise if Mr. Begiristain enforces a priority to bring Pep Guardiola to Manchester.

Roberto Mancini has recently signed a 7 million pounds per season for a five-year contract with the Blues; however, his shortfalls in the Champions League could jeopardize his current position.  This leaves the scenes open for the legend Pep Guardiola who is currently living in New York.

Pep Guardiola will study any offers presented by Txiki.  Pep and Txiki are well known for their frienship during the Pep era while in charge of Barca.  Txiki was his main supporter and helped Guardiola arrive as the “azulgrana” manager.

Manchester City has put great emphasis in not only recruiting former FC Barcelona employees from all departments, but also young prospect footballers such as Tello, Sergi Roberto and Rafinha.
